Bellissima collana, composta da tre pendenti e diverse perle. Tutti questi arredi si basano sui pezzi rinvenuti nel tesoro di Vårby, nella valle di Mälaren, nella Svezia centrale. Datato X secolo..
Quello centrale, realizzato in stile Borre, presenta serpenti simmetrici o grifoni intrecciati. Una decorazione molto comune nell’arte scandinava.
Gli altri due pezzi principali, anch’essi realizzati in stile Borre, presentano forme zoomorfe intrecciate.
Tutte le perle utilizzate in questa collana sono ispirate a pezzi granulati e filigranati, un disegno molto comune in diversi siti archeologici e trovato anche a Vårby.
